Easily create titles, sentiments or captions with the Alphanumeric Classic Upper Thinlits Die Set designed by Tim Holtz for Sizzix. Included in the set are 65 thin metal dies that includes a full set of uppercase letters and popular symbols in a sans serif font. These wafer-thin chemically-etched die sets are designed to cut, emboss or stencil a single sheet of cardstock, paper, metallic, or vellum and are compatible with the BIGkick, Big Shot and Vagabond machines (sold separately). Each die measures 1 1/2" tall.
I have the lower case set and find myself using it all the time. Even tho I haven't used the upper case set yet, I know I will reach for it all the time. I look forward to combining the 2 sets. They are slim, tall letters so they fit well on a small card front. The font is simple enough that it delivers the message without overpowering the rest of the design. It is difficult to find alphabet die sets that are middle-of-the-road in size. Most are under an inch or over an inch and a half. This one allows for more flexibility in placement when you want to cover the front of a card without the lettering being too large. Yes, 1 1/2 inches is just what I have wanted!
Excellent die set, cuts great & wide enough to easily add wet glue without making a mess.
Here's the BUT - It's called, "Alphanumeric" Classic Upper, BUT there are no numbers !
There are numbers in the Alphanumeric Classic Lower but they are smaller than the Upper set.
AND there is no separate set of numbers to go with this set.

If you're just looking for a great set of tall, skinny letters then, like I started with, this is a great set ;-)
