Add some fine Feathered Friends to your handcrafted projects with this Thinlits Die Set designed by Tim Holtz for Sizzix. Included in the set are 6 thin metal dies that measure from 1.375" x .5" to 2.5" x 2.875". These wafer-thin chemically-etched die sets are designed to cut, emboss or stencil a single sheet of cardstock, paper, metallic foil or vellum. The Thinlits dies in this set are compatible with the BIGkick, Big Shot, and Vagabond machines (all sold separately). The dies are in the shapes of birds.
Love these dies. Easy to put together, not too many pieces. And they come out so grand! And so many possible variations, from cutting out of different printed papers to cutting out of distress ink backgrounds. Having fun using them
I have many Tim Holtz dies and some are birds but this die is different. I like that 2 different birds are included. They are excellent thinlit dies like all of Tim Holtz's products!
I cut out the birds . I placed the smaller bird on a limb I made myself on top of the brick stencil I had used with textured paste n then used distressed inks and distressed oxide inks to color the bricks. Very fun. A very neat card to send
This is a fun die set and pretty versatile. I’ve found plenty of samples on Pinterest to get my creative juices flowing. The dies cut well as you’d expect from Sizzix.
I love this die cut it works so well with watercolor paper and it is a great design for making cards or artwork.
Going to review Feathered Friends and Funky weather together. These dies are neat. Have made cards and I am now working on a mixed medium project. Keep it up Tim.
Not too many pieces to put together and the birds are so cute together. They are a nice size to go onto cards or scrapbook pages.
I found that plain paper worked best to understand the image of the bird, as opposed to patterned paper, which was my original thought. I just distressed the plain paper and added a few embellishments for interest.
Had a friend going away so made the suitcases from Tim Holtz and used this die cut with a sentiment flying the coop
