Description & Details

This 3D Textured Impressions Embossing Folder is designed by Eileen Hull for Sizzix. This embossing folder produces a classic sweater knit pattern for your fall and winter crafting backgrounds. This embossing folder measures 6 1/4" x 4 1/4" and is compatible with leading die cutting machines (sold separately). This 3D folder is thicker than regular embossing folders, so use only 1 cutting pad along with the platform of your die cutting machine. For best results, it is recommended that you spray both sides of your cardstock with a fine water mist and pass it through your machine 3 times. Make sure you allow sufficient drying time before applying ink to your cardstock. This folder can also be used with paper, metallic foil, or vellum for unique, one-of-a-kind looks.

    My Favorite Embossing Folder

I adore "Sweater." I have used this so much in my journaling. I also think it will be wonderful in Christmas and winter designs. It works especially well with a nice glitter paper. I mist the front and back before embossing and have no difficulties at all. Reminds me of my lovely Irish wool sweaters.

    Beautiful design

I very much like this embossing folder. The design it creates is absolutely beautiful. I look forward using it as a backdrop for my cards or scrapbooking pages. The impression was so easy to emboss with heavy cardstock (only one pass) in my Sizzix Switch machine.

    Great texture pattern

A little hard to figure out how to get this bulky thing through my Sizzix machine, but I finally came up with the "sandwich" that worked! It truly is a great, deep pattern emboss - I used it plain & with inks and I liked the effect.
I am having a hard time lining it up correctly so the lines are straight. With this pattern, there is no forgiveness on that, since it's an integral part of the image. Practice, practice....but I think it will make really pretty cards!
