This Candlelight Colorize set of 15 Thinlits dies is designed by Tim Holtz for Sizzix. The Colorize technology from Tim Holtz is an intricate paper-layering process which enables you to create more dimensional and professional designs than before. These wafer-thin chemically-etched die sets are designed to cut, emboss or stencil a single sheet of cardstock, paper, metallic foil or vellum. They are simple to use, compact and portable for cutting at home or on-the-go. Thinlits dies are compatible with most leading die cutting machines (sold separately). To cut, the sandwich requires the use of a pair of cutting pads and the machine's included platform. Because of their intricacy, they may require up to 3 passes. These dies can emboss, simply follow the directions on your machine to make the perfect sandwich. To stencil, place the die over the cardstock or other material and apply ink or chalk to the indentations. This technique can be used alone or to enhance embossed designs. You are going to love working with these Colorize Thinlits dies and will want to add more of them to your collection.
This die set is a joy to use. I am enjoying all the different scenes I can enhance with the candles, such as candlesticks on a fireplace mantle in a Christmas scene. Lovely, well thought out die set and so easy to use.
These dies make lovely add ons. The lantern needs directions on how assemble the pieces. I had to spend time finding a You Tube video on how to put it together. The outcome was very nice.
