This two piece Thinlits die set, Botanic Scene, is designed by Lisa Jones for Sizzix. This die set includes the flower-filled cover die and a banner with a line of stitching around it. These dies are compatible with leading die cutting machines (sold separately). These chemically etched dies are designed to cut, emboss, or stencil a single sheet of cardstock, paper, vellum, or foil. These dies can be used for cards, scrapbook pages, tags, journal and planner pages, and other paper crafting and mixed media projects. The largest die measures 4" x 5.375" and the smallest die measures 3.375" x 0.5".
Its obvious how much detail is in the die. I made a couple of card fronts and I like them, except..there are places that consistently did not cut cleanly. I tried to pick the pieces out, I tried the rolly tool and all the pokie tools but nothing got all the tiny fidly bits out without tearing the 110# card stock I used and the thinner patterned paper I used.
This was a freebie so I will cover up the torn spots with a sentiment strip and keep it moving.
I got this as a freebee when placed another order. Oh my, I was so pleased to use it right away and will be doing other cards using it again. There are so many little bits and pieces of it that need to be cleared away, but the end result is beautiful. Makes a great background and I love florals of any kind.
This is a very pretty die-very good quality metal and the designs are lovely. I like everything about the flower die. There is the banner die that would be good for wording. Thank you, S.com! :D

I make a lot of colorful backgrounds and this die let's them peek out to make a nice card. It's well and I'm very happy with it

I LiOVE die cuts! This one is very cute but hard to cut out sadly.
