This Mini Holiday Greens Bundle designed by Tim Holtz for Sizzix is bound to find its way to many projects for an added touch of foliage, not just at Christmas time. This die set contains 11 thin metal dies that are chemically etched and designed to cut, emboss, and stencil. These dies are compatible with most leading die cutting machines (sold separately). The Shaping Tool Kit includes one molding pad, one 2 mm/5 mm Stylus Tool, one 8 mm/10 mm Stylus Tool, and one pair of Reverse-Action Tweezers to add extra dimension to your Holiday Greens die cuts.
First thing I made were Christmas tags and the mini size of this die set was perfect for the smaller tags which made everything look proportionate. I highly recommend this as a companion set to the bigger set as you can use this size as filler when using the larger set, or for all your smaller projects.

Nothing like having a set of Dies that can go a long way! I love greenery as it adds so much softness and warmth to a project. I've been enjoying cutting them apart to meet the needs of my projects. This was a great, versatile die set to add to my collection.

My Vagabond has been working overtime making these in every shade of green to be added to cards, tags, and bag toppers! (Both the mini and the original sizes.) They're a delight to use and appreciated by all who receive.

Sadly I paid full price but this set met all my expectations. There are just some things that the Cameo and Circut just can't replicate and the fine intricacies of these dies are a prime example. I won a page contest using two of these dies. I'll be sure to tag the product once I do.

These are lovely dies but not as sharp as I usually like. I found that I needed to use the metal plate for cutting intricate dies and a piece of cardstock for a shim, and it still took about six passes to cut through ordinary cardstock. It's fine if your just cutting a few, but I was was making 30 cards so this was time consuming having to go over and over it with My big shot. But the end result wasn't lovely. So I only recommend it to people with patience.

The cut on these dies is spot on. I know I'm going to get alot of use out of these as you are not just limited to using them for crafting holiday items. They would also be perfect for layouts or cards where you would want to use the pines for nature themes.

I used these die cuts with my new Spellbinders Platinum 50 die cutting machine. I had no problem cutting the shapes.The shapes are so nice that I used the positive shapes as well as the paper that the shapes were cut out from (the negative areas) to make greeting cards with.
