I'm new to Glimmer Mist I currently have 4 colors and can't wait to add more. I read that layering your colors give the best effect and I have to agree. Although the single color is a beautiful, rich color, the layers add a dimension all their own. Sand is an awesome color to use to mist with other colors. It's a nice neutral with just an aged hint of gold. You can spray it on, dab it on and paint it on and get different effects with each technique. It is also a nice color to use on ribbon or lace to add a distressed feel. I don't think you will be disappointed if you give this color a try.

This adds a very delicate sheen to my projects and is fabulous for masking. I wish I'd tried it sooner!

This is a great color if you're looking for an aged, vintage look.
This was my first purchase of glimmer mist. I felt rather like I was stumbling around in the dark b/c instructions are lacking; however, the lack of instructions is the only real problem! Application is easy and the effect add a lot to your LO or card. You can just add some shine or achieve an aged effect. I would suggest that you spray like you do with spray paint; move across your page while you spray to avoid puddling and place the object to be "glimmered" in a shallow box etc to avoid overspray.
