This wide base craft guillotine is made by Tonic Studios. This cutter is ideal for heavy usage, it can cut up to 5 sheets of 80 gsm paper at a time and it can cut up to a 12" x 12" paper. There is a comfort handle which can be stored under the base when not in use. There is a safety bar for holding down cardstock to ensure a clean, crisp cut. This is equipped with a hardened stainless steel precision ground blade. There is a magnetic storage area for small metal clips. This is sure to become a favorite product for all your paper cutting needs.
I have been waiting so long for this to come out. I had been waiting for a size suitable for scrapbooking and had only just purchased the previous model. I just had to get this though as I can just use it without setting it up.

Please take note of truly how LARGE a footprint this item takes up! 14x17.5x2.5. I measured and thought I had space in my small room but nope, this item is huge! I can return it but the cheapest shipping I can find is $24. So, I think I will probably be selling it. It is technically a top notch Tonic trimmer but it is designed for someone with a very large studio. I definitely regret my purchase.

Chipboard comes in various thicknesses. Thinner ones, yes. In general, no.
