This die is really beautiful. It’s hard to tell from the packaging, but the die has dots so you can apply the Nuvo drops in a perfect placement with no thinking about where they should be. They turn out perfect every time!
First of all I like the packaging much nicer than how sizzix packages their thin dies. The packaging is a little more secure. The die is nice and for me i am always looking for dies that make nice backgrounds to my tag making. I think this die will work nicely and allow a lot of creativity. I will be watching for more of these dies in the future.
This is a beautiful die, I received it free during the black Friday sale. It cuts nice and smooth and through many different media.

Received this as a freebie item with my order and I can't be more impressed! At first I was a bit unsure that the small dots would come out well enough to see. Boy, was I was wrong. The dots easily impress so as to help you place your Nuvo dots better. I can't seem to stop creating with this die! The die itself is sturdily made and comes very well packaged. Well worth it! This die is by Tonic Studios, it is a thin metal die that can be used in nearly all die cutting machines. This die is expecially unique as the little dots surrounding the motif are guides for using embellishments. Liquid pearls, Nuvo Crystal drops etc., can be applied to the indented dots which allows them to be evenly placed.
This one cut through all the weights of paper I tried it on. I did not try heavy weight card stock, but it did cut cleanly though the papers I tried. Also, when you cut it out, you will get those two little leaf parts that are whole, and they can be used on another project.
Very nice die providing an avenue to experiment with dies in different way. Great quality and super clean cuts!

how does she get the colored paper to stick in the holes she has cut out?

She put Stick-It or some kind of double sided adhesive sheet on the back side of the paper. If you watch the video again, she turns the panel over and you can see the adhesive sheet on the back.

She cuts out more than the one image. She will die cut as many different colors she wants to use and drop the different color bits into the holes created by the first cut. it's called paper-piecing. Glue the throw away bits into the main cutout.

How do you get the package containing the die open with the orange button at the top holding it closed?????

I believe it can just pop off or cut the top of the packaging ?!! Try twisting it off
