Each pack of refill comes with 3 folder pockets. When placed these 3 pockets together, the button of each pocket will be on top of one another. This will take up spaces.
If only that the position of the button of each folder pocket could be reposition, with one pocket having its button positioned slightly higher, one pocket with button position remain unchanged, and the last pocket with its button positioned lower. This will take up less space when the 3 pockets are placed together.
I love this system for storing dies - I can easily see what I have. Everything is held in place and contained within the folders. You have to make sure not to put anything behind the snaps to avoid bending your dies, but that is easy enough. It is true that the maximum is 5 sheets in the binder.
The Tonic binder zips up and I can store it horizontally on a shelf - I feel like that prevents bending. However, this is so sturdy, I suppose you could store the binder vertically which would take up less space. The large on is tall, though, so check dimensions if you want to fit it vertically on your shelf. Perfect system for me!
