The Craft Tacky Glue by Tonic Studios is ideal for both detailed and general arts and crafts and is for use with paper, cardstock, and wood. Included is one 120 ml super tacky polyvinyl acetate craft glue that is acid-free and photo-safe.
I have tried a lot of other tacky glues, but I could never reach the bottom of the bottle, just because it dries up halfway. With the tacky glue from Tonic, I did not have any problem finishing up the whole thing. I could leave the cap open for overnight, and all I had to do was insert a pin needle, and the glue is ready for scrapbooking.
Big difference, nothing is wasted.

Is it clear on acetate and or vellum?

Just received this glue and tried it. While it dries clear, it has a glossy finish when dry. If you’re looking for a glue that dries clear with a matt finish, try Tonic Deluxe Adhesive. Neither of these glues leave a tacky finish when dry. The Deluxe is my fave all-purpose. It dries quickly and is very strong.
