I will be totally honest in saying that I have purchased about 4 different trimmers in the last 2-3 years. Each one always had some quirk that I didn't like about it. When I found the Tonic trimmer, one of my friends said it was the best trimmer she had ever used and that it cuts clean, straight lines everytime! So, I decided to purchase this trimmer and I absolutely love it! It's easy to use and it never gives me the frayed edges that some of my old trimmers would. All of my old trimmers have gone into the garage sale pile!
This is the best paper trimmer that I have purchased in a long time. This trimmer actually cuts my paper straight, unlike the last trimmer that I had. I also like that it came with a scoring blade, however, I wish it had come with more cutting blade replacements as it only came with one. At the bottom of this trimmer, there is that little bit cut out so there is a little thumb flip thing that makes it so easy to lift and put down the trimmer part so your paper is still lined up straight. This trimmer is a must have!

I've been looking for a trimmer that actually cuts straight lines, I've tried so many and nothing has worked. I had tested this trimmer at CHAW but was unable to locate it in my LSS. When I did find it I snatched it up and I love it! Cuts straight lines everytime! Hopefully this is the last trimmer I will ever own.
I've gone through many trimmers, and this one has served me well. The blades hold up well, even through chipboard. The guides are true-to-length, and the cut is exactly 90 degrees from the edge that you butt up against the top. The blades are easy to change out, without the housing feeling flimsy.

The under-rated find in the Tonic trimmer line. The guillotines are great....but this is light, portable, and does a great job.
I've got (ahem) a LOT of trimmers, but this is the one that comes out for everyday use.
Wow Dont buy another paper trimmer!!!!!!I have 5 that i hate..this is the best trimmer the cuts are so staight...I will be selling my old ones...or on second thought they will be donated...
I just bought one for me and one for my Mom for our trip to CKU-Provo. We both used our trimmers a lot and found it portable, durable and so easy to use. We would both highly recommend it!
I bought this trimmer after my other one which I hated she shreaded the paper I was working with. When this came from sb.com I was so excited!! Such clean perfect lines!!

I haven't had it very long and only used it once, but I'm impressed with how smoothly it cut through the paper. I made very thin strips and they came out very even.
