This was my first experience with Pixie spray and I having heard high reviews on it, I didn't anticipate any problems as long as I followed the instructions. Because I planned to use many stencils the following day, I prepared a large well-ventilated area, lay the stencils down, shook the can, and began spraying. I was surprised that the spray came out in a wide stream rather than a mist, but continued to spray, making sure that the entire surface of each stencil was covered. I even made sure to shake the can before every couple of stencils so was surprised when the can abruptly stopped working despite feeling fairly heavy with contents obviously remaining in the can. I was glad I had purchased two cans and decided to use the second can for the remaining stencils. Much to my horror, the 2nd can sprayed in a mist and lightly coated the stencils, instead of the heavy coating the first can left. When the first, heavily coated stencils were still extremely sticky hours later, I tried removing the Pixie spray, first with soap and water and then hand sanitizer to no avail. I then tried rubbing alcohol which only came through the stencils, leaving both sides of the stencils extremely sticky. The following day I used one of the initial stencils which was damaged, but less than others, and was heartbroken when despite gently lifting it off the paper, several patches of paper stuck to the stencil and ruined the paper. It is obvious to me, I not only wasted money on a can of Pixie spray, but far more important, I ruined almost half my precious collection of stencils with a defective can of Pixie spray.
This spray is great when used on your stencils also is easily removed!
First time I've used Pixie spray but it won't be the last. Goes on quickly and nice and washes off equally nice. A great way to hold stencils in place and keep the little edges from getting caught and bending.
This item is marked as " light tack" but should be descrobed as "no tack." DON'T BUY
I have a stencil that is very delicate and moves easily while ink blending. The pixie spray worked perfectly.
I am a huge PIxie Spray fan! Just a super light spray of this to stick those stencils down and with all the blending and blending and blending and the stencil won't move! A definite must have!

How do you clean this Pixie spray off stencil? How do you store stencils if the is a re-useable stencil spray?

I clean my stencil (after using the Pixie spray) by putting it in some warm water with a little bit of dawn dish soap. Rinse it well, rub it off with a fiber cloth and let it air dry!! I store all of my stencils in a 3 ring binder with 8.5 X 11 page sleeves. I can flip through the binder very easily a choose the one I want to use!!
