    I'm interested in making swatches for my new watercolor painting hobby. I love the idea of this product! If I purchase this stamp set, what ink do you recommend using with it to create the swatch boxes? Would permanent ink be the best so the boxes would not smear with water and watercolor paint?

    I'm also new to these types of stamps and blocks. Are these stamps adhesive or do they require a special adhesive to apply it to an acrylic block? And, are the stamps reusable so the block has the ability to be used interchangeably with other adhesive stamps?

      This stamp set is great for swatching watercolors. I would definitely use a permanent ink such as Ranger Archival or VersaFine with watercolors. The stamps do not require adhesive and can easily be removed from an acrylic block or stamping tool such as a MISTI. The coordinating dies are used to cut out the stamped images.       Hi Ann!
      I have this set and love it for swatching watercolors, watercolor pencils and markers. The longest stamp is 6 1/4 inches by 1 1/2 inches. The widest stamp is 5 1/4 inches by 2 1/2 inches. The smaller stamps will easily fit on a small (2 1/2 inches by 2 inches) acrylic block. Hope this helps!
