I adore these pages (and thank you again sb.com for getting them to me in time!!). I made a huge album for my DD of all the events and preparation leading up to her wedding. There were WAY too many good photos of her shower, and of rehersal dinner, to not include, but how can you fit that many pages in an album, had I scrapped each photo?? These pages were the answer!! I scrapped my favorite 1, 2 or 3 photos of each of the main events, and then inserted 2 or 3 of these pages and was able to give my DD the rest of the great shots taken on these days!! That and a set of 2" binder posts to expand the album as much as possible LOL!!
I even did some minor 'scrapping' on a few as if they were tiny layouts!!
I am also using some of these pages to sort all my old photos I want to scrap but have not been able to get to - I am sorting them into an album in chronilogical order and will take them out as I can find time to scrap. In the meantime, I can enjoy looking at the photos all I want, instead of keeping them in a box!!!
I LOVE these! They are my favorite way to organize photos. Now I can have all my photos in an album with scrapbook pages even before I scrapbook them! So nice! I love being able to flip through all my photos like a photo album instead of having them in a box!
I also can use them to organize planned pages. I place the photos in the photo sleeves and then use a regular 12x12 page protector that I place in the album next to it to hold the papers and such. Once the page is complete the page goes in that 12x12 page protector and I use the photo sleeves for new photos!
The other cool thing is if you are like me and you have events with tons of photos that you know you are not going to get around to scrapbooking, no stress. Just make a layout or two with your favorite photos and then place the other photos in a photo sleeve right behind that layout. That way the event is documented and your many photos are right next to it (not in a box or some other album)!
Did I mention that I love these! I would give them way more than 5 stars, but the system won't let me! :)
These are great for pictures, of course, but they are so versatile! Use in between decorated scrapbook pages to hold the 'extra' pics from a party, vacation, etc. BUT, you can also use these AS THE ACTUAL 12X12 scrapbook pages!! Use each pocket for elements on your page! Mat photos, use for journaling and embellishments! The possibilities are endless! GREAT product! And if by chance the 'holes' don't exactly fit your scrapbook, then use the We R Memory Crop-a-dile to punch extra holes (an ordinary hole puncher doesn't work!)
I'm loving these right now! I have many photos from a trip we took across country. I can not possibly scrap them all. But using these page protectors mixed with 12x12 in a 3 ring binder album, I'm able to include all of the wonderful photos.
I am placing 5 photos and using one of the blocks for a decorated journaling block.
I bought these to participate in the Project 365 that I missed out buying. I needed the 3 ring ones, but they vanished right as I went to buy so I bought the post bound. They fit the American Craft 3-Ring albums perfectly. I can't wait to get all my pictures from the month of January in the album.
