    I'm hooked

Yes, I'm hooked! This is a great little tool. It easily and cleanly punches/cuts a line or circle or whatever along my cardstock (80 wt). I can draw in lines for a fake sewing look or easily sew in some baker's twine for a great look. Since I don't have a sewing machine and don't even know how to use one, this is a real find! I'll certainly be buying some of the other cartridges for different styles of cutting. I highly recommend you get the We R Memory Keepers - Sew Easy - Piercing Mat and the We R Memory Keepers - Sew Easy - Ruler along with it. This gives you a self-healing surface for the piercing and running the piercer tool along the ruler gives you a straight and steady hand.

    Sew Easy Tool & Attachments

Having completed many cross stitch projects (both small & large) over the years, I was excited to see this new product for scrap book projects. I love everything about it!!!! Make sure you get the pink mat. You may think you can use your self healing mat or quilt mat but there is a big difference. The pink mat has much more of a foam base. The texture of the pink mat makes using the tool & various attachments much easier. Well worth the investment.

It's so easy, it's so easy yeah yeah!

That was some commerical jingle some time ago but I sing it when I use this tool. I have been a fan of sewing on my LO's but I am too lazy to thread my machine and getting tired of poking holes with a hole puncher.

This makes it a lot easier and has changable heads that do some really neat stuff. Makes you want to collect them all.

I just recommend if you're doing a pattern to trace it out and press down hard and move slowly. That is unless you just want a jagged up sewn look!

    Great product

I love this thing. It's a great way to add stitched to your pages in any shape or direction. It is easy to use. I recommend that you buy the mat that comes with, I tried a mouse pad and it doesn't work very well. I also recommend that you buy the needles, they are blunt and work well with paper. I was delighted to discover that you can store the needles in the handle, so convenient.

  • Cool Tool

I have used this a couple of times since receiving the whole set in my stocking for Christmas (wonderful Husband). I think it works great. I love the look of stitching but don't own a sewing machine and wouldn't use one, so this helps me get the look without investment. I use the mat with it and have tried it on all thicknesses of paper, all with great results. Although I have all of the different heads, I don't think they are needed because you have several options with each one. I think for the price and capabilities, it can't be beat.

Product Questions & Answers

  • I am interested in the sew easy tools. The heads come seperate from the handle, right? Do you get any stitch piercer with the purchase of the handle? Since you are out of the handle, to buy the stitch heads, I should probably wait until the handles are back in stock, right? Also does the piercer tools go through card stock weight paper? I would appreciate answers to ALL my questions. Thank you so much. • I am very happy with the tool. It came in a kit with four different heads. I was not happy with it until I realized that you must put the fabric, paper or card stock on a piece is styrofoam, then it works like a charm. I use it a lot for journaling. I do recommend it.
