This handy hole punch from We R Memory Keepers has a two inch reach and the strength of the Crop-A-Dile. Perfect for card making, book making, scrapbooking and so much more. Other features include:
I have been seriously needing a regular sized hole punch (read: 1/4 inch) which would punch more than one or two pieces of thin paper, and this does just that while also having the advantage of being able to see where you are punching for precision in hole-placement (open the trash piece). It's wonderful, and I am so happy to finally be able to find this!! I have a Crop-A-Dile which is great for hole punching, of course, but the largest hole it punches is only 3/8" which seems so much smaller, and my binder rings do not slide very easily with that small of a hole. Voila, the Power Punch has come to my rescue! Darling, where have you been all my life? Love this! One of the absolute best investments I've made since purchasing the first Crop-A-Dile!! A must get!
This is another great tool from a great company in the crafting world. If you love all things We R Memory Keepers, then you will love this new hand tool. How do you improve the original and big bite Crop-A-Dile's? With this gadget they have done it again. I purchased both sizes and you should too. It's constructed very very good -- not too heavy but just right. If squeezing isn't your thing, then you may not like it. But if you want a smaller hand print tool to punch holes thru the basic materials like chipboard etc. then this is the answer. Smaller size means take it with you and still get the job done when you're on the go! Take the plunge and try it. I'm sure WRMK will add more sizes to this product line soon.
I purchased this tool when it was on sale. I'm so glad I did! It punches like butter (not as messy as butter ;) It has a different hole size than the crop a dile. The settings are easy to use and I love the locking feature. Bye, bye older hole punches!
This is truly a power punch. I just had to try it out on a variety of materials. It effortlessly cut through the thick chipboard packaging it came in, out-of-date credit cards, and metal tooling foil, all with little effort on my part. That is important to me as I have a painful condition in my hands for which I will soon begin treatment. This punch is absolutely worth its purchase price.
I purchased this mainly to punch through my chipboard pieces when I make mini albums. It punches through them easily, and I feel confident that it will be around for a long time--it feels well made, heavy and like it won't break any time soon. I feel like I got a really great deal--this was less expensive than other Crop-A-Diles, so if you don't need the other features, or prefer to have the features on separate punches, this is awesome!
After years struggling with Joe average paper punches that don't line up, cut only thin paper or just become paper weights I found crop a dile via another crafter. Changed the game, I am beyond pleased, multiple sheets AND chipboard. My patience and arthritic hands salute you We R Memory Keepers and of course my crafty best friend Scrapbook.com for bringing the best at a lower cost. Heidi B
...I don,t think so. I've been scrapbooking for over 20 years now and have gone through I don,t know how many hole punches. I probably could have bought 3-4 of these by now. If you're looking for a tool that does the job and stands up to the rigorous punching that us crafters put our tools through, then this is the tool for you.
If I only punch one sheet of paper, the punch does not cut entirely through. It is still connected at 2 very small points across from each other.
However, if I punch a heavier card stock (or more than just 1 sheet of printer paper) it works great!!
