I seriously LOVE these pens. I use them for all my doodling and writing. I love that there are so many different tip sizes to choose from (although I use the .05 and .03 sizes the most). What I love about these pens is that they never smudge. I have had problems with that in the past, but never with these. Even if I turn my paper and end up resting my arm where I've just written, the ink doesn't smudge. Another thing I love about these pens is that I have never had one "dry up" from not being used or from being stored veritcally. In fact, I always store these pens vertically since I use them so often I just have them in a pencil cup on my desk. These pens write smoothly and I've never seen the ink blot, bleed or fade. I've been using these pens for YEARS! In fact, I've been using the same .05mm and .03mm pens for close to 3 years and they are still going strong! I have a 9-yr.-old daughter who scrapbooks so I bought her a set of these pens for Christmas last year and she loves them too!

What a versatile set of pens this is - the varying tip widths insure that you can create and convey whatever look you want with your writing, drawing, doodling, etc. The ink is smooth, dark and doesn't run or smudge on almost all papers (if writing on glossy paper, I use pens specifically designed for that, such as Slick Writers). This is fabulous for beginners who want to equip themselves with a set of pens guaranteed to provide multiple uses, but even scrappers who are beyond the novice level will find themselves coming back to these pens - I know I do! Write on!

This is a great buy for the five marker set. I use the two smallest tip markers the most. They are my favorite because I have not found a fine tip marker or pen that does not bleed when drawing fine lines on the torn bears/mulberry paper. I also have not had any problems with smearing when doodling or writing on vellum. Zig is known for the "better" markers and now I see why!
Just a note: store these vertical with the tips pointed down. I had mine in a drawer stored horizontal and the smaller tips dried up.

I moved from using technical pen nibs and bottled ink my work to this pen set years ago. I know that sounds like I'm from the dinosaur age, but that's what was used in graphic arts a few years back. I use the .03 and .05 pens most but LOVE the other tips just as much. The .005 nib tends to wear out first because it is so delicate; almost like a pin point. The pen set makes it possible to have options in doodling and lettering and like so many know, this ink doesn’t smear.

This is by far the best black pen out there! This is my go to pen for just about everything. It is so smooth to write with. There are no clumps or drying out with it. I use it for all of my journaling and doodling. I even used it to write out all of my Christmas cards bc I knew that it would look so much nicer then a regular pen. This is one of the tools that I ALWAYS use when I scrapbook!!!

I love zig pens -- hands down! I use them for almost everything. The black set is my favorite only because I mostly use black when journaling. There are 5 tips to choose from, so it's versatile. I also like the double ended colored pens for other projects as well, but if you need a set of black pens, I definitely recommend this set.
I use these pens almost every time I scrap. The five different sizes are perfect for all sorts of situations. I use the three smallest ones the most often, but all five have gotten plenty of use. They are long-lasting (well over a year old, constant use, no sign of slowing) and write so smoothly. I'd strongly recommend them.

I really enjoy these pens, I write in black ink alot and it is great to have a high quality pen. I also love that I can choose the thickness I want. I have had my pens for a while and they still flow smothly. This is a great item and it even makes my handwritting look better! lol.
