This photo is my grandfather and his twin sister taken in 1894. I loved the opulence of the Victorian era when this pic was taken so I tried to bring out the rich colours of the time. This layout started with the birdcage and bird that I found in an old decoupage book of Victorian images that I have had for many years...time to scrap it I thought and I knew exactly which photo I was going to use! I used the new Kaiser Xmas pp's which I felt worked well with the era. The little gold cherub is old stash and the stems are unknown. I threaded beads on the silk ribbon to hang the birdcage. The little girl in this photo is the young lady in my lo 'Angel from the past'. Thankyou so much for looking:)
