Description: I found this lovely pink motel while I was on Spring Break and fell in love...journaling reads...
If I ever turn up missing, the best
place to come looking for me is this motel in
Daytona Beach. I passed it on my way back
from the store when we were there on Spring
Break in 2008. It reminds me of a simpler time.
Yes, I can see myself at the desk in the morning checking guests out, going out
in the late morning and early afternoon to get some sun on the beach, which is convienently located directly across the street, or running errands before new guests arrive in the early evening.
Yes. Managing a sun-bleached motel from a bygone era across the street from the ocean is something I can see myself doing long term.
So, if you call or come over and find me not home doing laundry, cleaning counters, helping with homework, cooking something, or cleaning something, check my closet. More than likely there will be only long sleeves and thick socks. But always feel free to come visit as long as you don’t expect me to come home with you.
I’ve always said I belong on the beach. Here in this little motel, I could meet new people and be a beach bum. Sounds like the perfect life for me.

I love this. I have seen this place so many times. I live in Fl. and only about 50 miles from Daytona.
