It's odd. This year I have been stronger than ever. I've been pretty much a single parent this whole past summer trying to minimize the effects of DH was gone in in a halfway house. I've done garabage duty, dealt with babysitters, tantrums, tween rebellion & poor decisions, keeping family, friends & work updated on everything and forcing myself to sleep alone. I'm turning 30 in a couple weeks. Instead of being sad about this like some women are, I'm excited. I want to celebrate. Not only celebrate that I've survived a long, difficult year as a mama, wife & person but also celebrate the fact that I've reached this point in my life.
