Snowflakes falling,
Friends come calling,
Decorations in green and red.
Smells enticing,
Bowls of icing,
For cookies and gingerbread.

Candles glowing,
Goodwill flowing,
The Christmas story is read.
Yule log burning,
Wishful yearning
As children dream in bed.

Stockings hung
Carols sung,
Hope and Peace, the common thread.
Families near,
Memories dear,
As Christmas blessings are spread.
