Product Description: If you do any kind of paper piecing, whether it be with personal electronic die cutters, manual die cutters or paper punches, this is the product for you!
The QuicKutz QuickStik Quicker-Poker-Picker-Upper does exactly what its name implies. It picks up tiny pieces of paper and pokes paper from a die shape when it’s been cut.
The QuicKutz QuickStik has two ends, one for picking up and one for poking.
The first end has a clear cap and after you pull the cap straight off (do not twist it off) you will find a top full of tacky material that is dispensed slowly as you screw the top on tighter. This tacky green material is what sticks to your paper leaving absolutely no residue on your projects. It picks up the paper and allows you to place it exactly where you want it.
Tips & Techniques:
- When the little tip of green tacky material loses its tack, just pinch it off and twist the top to dispense more. I also love using this end of the QuickStik to pick up small pieces of paper to which I’ve already applied glue.
- The flip side of the QuickStik has a plastic pointed end that is removable and flips around to have a plastic beveled end. The pointed end is perfect for poking out little pieces of paper that were not completely cut out.
- The beveled end works great when trying to get underneath your diecuts, for example on your Cricut mat.
The QuickStik can be used for more than just paper. Any light embellishment can be picked up with it and placed on your project with ease.
