This layout is for my confidante and happily hapa sista' Clare. The layout was inspired by the background in her photo and the pencils pay tribute to her amazing skills as a writer. Thanks to Linda on the chipboard tip. I went at it right away! TFL...

Clare,

You are my confidante. If ever there is a time when I need someone to listen, counsel and clarify, I call you.

Always pragmatic, understanding and fair, you will dissipate any ill-conceived notions and bear the impossible gift of supportive feedback with honest objectivity.

In your own words, "There are not that many people you can have a long, mutually-beneficial, involved, stimulating, find-yourself thinking-"yes! yes!"-because-they just-get-it conversation with. Maybe I need to try harder to seek those people out? Doubtful. I think what makes them so satisfying is that you just come across them when you're not looking. That's what makes them exceptional, unique."

And that's you Clare: An exceptional and unique individual who I found when I wasn't looking. So seamless is our relationship, I'm hard pressed to remember the first time we spoke or started hanging out as friends. It's as if we just clicked right away with
no pretense. no guessing. no beginning or end. You are just like family to me, someone I can always
depend and rely on. The one that lets me vent AND repent.
