Oh boy he was a sweet one on this day. The journal reads:

For me, Valentine's Day in 2007 was going to be just another day because it fell on a Wednesday. I knew Joe and I wouldn't be able to spend our first valentine's together because of school, and that made me really sad. Well, on the Tuesday before valentine's, Joe kept sending me strange text messages saying, "Class at 3?" and "Hey what time do you go to class?" I thought it was weird because he already knew my school schedule, but I just brushed it off. So I got home from school at around 5pm, and my roommate Lacey and I were watching some TV. Out of nowherewe hear a knock at the door, and we freaked out because neither of us were expecting anyone. Lacey went to open the door since she is tall enough to see through the peep hole. She told me, "Ellen I think you should answer it." I was so confused, but I went to open it...And standing right there in front of me in the doorway was Joseph, holding both arms full of stuff. I was in so much shock, I kept screaming, "Oh my god! Oh my god!" Of course I cried at just the thought of Joe surprising me. Joe took me into my room and let me open all of my giftss...a dozen pink roses, an Al Green cd, LOTS of Godiva chocolates, a beautiful card, a $40 gift certificate to Victoria's Secret, and he brought me some food that we both like so we could eat supper together. I was in total shock, I'd never been treated like this ona Valentines Day. Joseph gave me everything any girl would dream of on that day, but most of all I got him. 2-14-07
