Where was THAT toy at Christmas! What fun that would have been!! :) Man, I hate that y'all are dealing with that basement mess. I hope for everyone's sake that it will be completely quickly. OH - and I really like how you did the title!!!
i'm so sorry that you were affected by the flooding. i hope it won't be too hard to replace it all, good thing it sounds like you can. love the pic...the way he's holding the stick is so cute!!
Decided to leave this one a full pic just because I liked it so much. I thought some of the impace might get lost if I made it smaller. My mom bought this little game table for us long before we had ds, in hopes we would have a grandchild for her to give it to. We've stored it for years and finally dug it out a couple of months ago. We started referring to our basement as Sam's Pool Hall, and he picked up on calling it that as well. He was crushed we had to tear it apart after our basement flooded. But it'll be back soon. :-)
Journaling: Although it’s currently closed for business, we are working diligently to get it re-opened for you. The basement flooded when our electricity went out and we had to start from scratch. Your pool table is sitting in the garage just waiting for you to come play with it again. Contractors have been in and out of the house for weeks now and we’re getting a kick listening to you talk about how they’re “putting Sam’s Pool Hall back together.” There are so many flood victims right now that it’s taking longer than normal to fix everything. We know how much you miss the basement. Trust me, we miss it too. But, we are so very grateful everything we lost can be replaced. So many others here in the Midwest weren’t so lucky. Hopefully it won’t be too much longer before Sam’s Pool Hall is once again open for business.
