Pictures from my trip to Israel in 2011. Journaling reads "After viewing many different sites, we walked along the eastern side of the Temple Mount through the burial grounds that cover the Mount of Olives and the hillside leading up to the Temple Mount. In Jewish tradition, the Messiah will descend the Mount of Olives on Judgment Day and enter through Jerusalem through the beautiful gate. This is why so many Jews want to be buried here. The Muslims have blocked this gate and placed tombs in front of the gate, hoping to deter the return of the Messiah. It was a fascinating place to explore and take pictures."
I created the rosettes using a cut file on my computer. They are bulky but I love how they look on here. :)
