SHCG - Love this multi-pic 2-pager! Great use of that Cricut cart. Awesome how you cut some of the seasonal background elements to anchor stuff. This is already fab as is but if you want, I could see adding a couple of dimensional embellies before & after the title (like copper brads or something holiday themed). Nice work!
SHCG: Your handmade stencil embellies are a fun element to this spread. I like that the leaves are different colors and how they unite the two pages. I think this idea can be furthered if you connected them with twine. The title is in a lovely font and I'd like to see it showcased a bit more. I'd also like to see the location added to the turkey. I like each photo, but my faves are all the ones on the right page. Cool perspective to the one in the upper right and the tree is absolutely majestic. Of course, kitties I can't resist.
SHCG: Pretty! I love how you've layered the leaves etc both ontop of and below the photos I also like how youve used different colors as mats behind the photos. I also feel that the title gets lost on the page I wonder if it would help if you added a dark brown matt behnd it or even dark brown letters cut n the same way as a shadow behind the title.
shcg - great job on the bg paper designing. I love the bright colors and the overlapping of the leaves/etc. over photos. As bright as the title is, it still tends to get lost over some of the bg elements, though, and I'm not sure how you could mend that. Is there any journaling to go with this? People, places??
Here is another Turkey day, this from 2010. Food, family, friends and fun. this was my first use of the Thankksgiving Cricut cartridge. I designed the background paper and messed up a bit, I meant to mirror the pages with the stencils but must have gotten distracted while doing it. I decided to cut out parts of the design and use them to anchor pictures.
