lol @ desilu!! You'll never catch me surfing/swimming... I'm scared to death of water...as a teenager I almost drown in the Columbia River!

I've never seen anyone surf IRL. Of course I've only been to the beach twice. I might like to try it once but the whole JAWS thing would be a distraction, lol!

POD 11/15 surfers in Jan.

this is not such a great photo, but I took it from the beach and my camera is just not strong enough to get clear shots from that far away..
There was maybe 20 or more surfers out at the beach today trying to catch a wave. I seen a few get up and surf in but the waves were not real big and they were few and far between. But these guys stuck it out and was there till sunset.
