Journaling is:I now know what people mean when they talk of the “magic” of Disney. I can only try to describe it as the awe of experiencing rides that only exist here, the look of pure admiration on kids’ faces when they meet their favorite characters, and the complete amazement at every detail that is purely Disney. We spent an evening and one entire day at the Magic Kingdom. The first night we were in Florida, we headed straight to Toontown to meet Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Trent rode Space Mountain with Russ and loved it! We experienced the rest of TomorrowLand (Buzz Ride was the best!) and watched the amazing Wishes fireworks show. It was a late night and Addy fell asleep in line for the monorail to come and take us back.
A day later we returned to the Magic Kingdom. Despite Russ forgetting the tickets and having to go back to the hotel to get them, we still managed an early start. We started in FantasyLand and promptly fell in love with Mickey’s Philharmagic. Pooh, Peter Pan, Small World, and Snow White’s Scary Adventures all were enjoyed. And we never had to wait more than 20 minutes for any ride. On to Liberty Square and FrontierLand! Big Thunder Mountain roller coaster was a blast for the entire family. We experienced the most awesome parade -ever. Then in AdventureLand, Trent and Addy were treated like royalty themselves when they met Aladdin and Jasmine. A couple of boat rides later (Pirates & Jungle cruise) and our Magic Kingdom tour was complete!
