July color challenge (red, white & blue!) AND I doodled...not very good, but I did it.

Journaling is: Fourth of July spent in Spicer. That includes patriotic t-shirts, sparklers, lots of candy at the parade, and fireworks at nightfall. This year was no different except that I bought these crazy stars and stripes hats to wear during the parade. And did we get noticed! Everybody loved how cute Trent and Addy looked in their big floppy hats and commented on how patriotic and fun we all looked. The people on the floats in the parade showered us with candy and prizes. Sometimes it’s just to your advantage to stand out in the crowd! July 4th, 2006
