Love the colors and this lo!! I am right there with you, turn 50 this year in Dec., but it isn't all what it is cracked up to be is it?? However, I think you look great!!!! And you do great scrapping!!
Amazing work! I agree, it is truly a feast for the eyes. Love the colors, tone, and your creativity. Love the photo too and using a black and white photo was brilliant! btw, I think you look maaaaaaaaaahvelous!
This is a feast for the eyes in every way! You took the scrap pack idea to a whole other level with this page! The photo of you is lovely and I think you wear 50 well! (I'm 53, so I should know!)
I turned 50, overweight, thinning weight, in menopause, type 2 diabetes, I felt anything but beautiful. This LO is for the me inside: glamourous, sensuous, confident, beautiful. My dd, 17, took this photo with available light.
Scrap Pack items: Playing cards: cut diamonds from 2 cards, antiqued them with Brown Stazon and glued around photo. Cut flowers from 5 cards, painted with alcohol inks, antigued with brown stazon-1 by 50, 1 top of scroll, 1 middle of scroll under tan pp, 1 under red poker chip, 1 beside window/rosette; Cut numbers from 3 cards for date, under flower lower right corner; cut circles from backs of 4 cards for flower centers; cut queen and borders from 3 cards for woman in window embellie, above rosette-antiqued with brown stazon. 4 Poker Chips- 1 stamped with @ in title, 1 under rosette for height, 2 (white/red) stamped with flourish/black stazon Placed near top of scroll and next to rosette. Tissue paper- punched into 3 small flowers and layered. 1 under red flower by 50, 1 on flower next to rosette, 1 on top flower. Sequined mesh- 3 scraps glued to scroll under flowers-1 under 50, 1 under red poker chip, 1 under white poker chip; srap used to make corner in window embellie, Sequins removed and glued to black border around photo frame. glittered grass stems- used to staple ribbon scroll in place: I wanted this to look like stitches so I poked holes in either side of ribbon, cut an inch of grass and poked it into holes, flattened and taped ends on back of LO. I also stuck a small piece behind flowers under 50. Red acrylic pebble- glued to flower center Left corner next to 50. gold gift bag filler- used to decorate rosette in right lower corner. Black satin ribbon-glued to LO with glue dots in scroll pattern under flowers. 3 red rhinestones- 1 center of rosette, 1 center gold flower under 50, 1 center top flower. 2 gold star brads- 1 center red flower under 50, 1 center of flower under red poker chip, 1 center of flower over window embellie. Glitter paper- Cut into flower below 50, center of flower by red poker chip, 1 center of flower above window embellie.
