This is a follow up to my last lo. In the last layout my daughter had turned in all her paperwork to serve as a missionary for our church. We then needed to wait to see where in the world she would be assigned. The letter telling of her assignment arrived last Thursday, but she wasn't home and didn't get home until Sunday night....the longest four days of my life...that envelope kept taunting me with "OPEN, OPEN, OPEN!". I stayed strong, though. With our friends and family gathered around and a few on speaker phone that couldn't be with us...she opened her letter on Sunday and found that she will be serving in Paraguay. We couldn't be more thrilled and excited for her. She reports to the missionary training center on September 23 and will be there for nine weeks. She will then fly to Peru on November 24. The journaling on this layout is an excerpt from the letter that told of her call. It makes me misty every time I read it.
