Give a Cheer
My sisters and I came up with this idea, for my mom's 60th birthday, to ask EVERYONE my mom knows "When I Think of Sidney I..." Then I made a album of the quotes and pictures. Turned out great and was fun, but tons of work. I had a huge amount of quotes and pictures and I wanted them all in there without looking like it's too much. I glued the quotes to tags I made, and then tied ribbons to the tags, so they wouldn’t get lost. I had so many tags with ribbons I had to put an extra metal ring on the top ring just to tie the ribbons to.
These were the only two pictures of my mom when she was young which worked perfectly! One was cut really funny so I just straighten it up and matted it with cream color cardstock.
I also added ribbon to the sides of all the pages and pictures so people could turn the pages without grabbing the page itself. I worried with so many people looking at it the pp would separate from the chipboard.
