Jen, I really love this. The circle with the star and the stitching is so nice. Like the colors echoing jeans also. I agree about the circle pic, but the other one is nice... maybe you could use a photo editor to make the backgroung b&w to make the boys pop and then enlarge the pic. It depends on the theme, but I feel this star is too big to the little pic. Maybe you could make a Lo to go with this one - to make it a double page lo and then you can put the enlarged pic and some journaling. I really like the design and the idea. Great job.

Terrific lo! Love the bold black cs and awesome star. Since you mention no journaling in our thread, I thougnt maybe you could add a simple qoute in red, white, or blue down the left-hand side liek "boys will be boys;" that way you could have some journaling and make the lo completley balanced. Love the sitiching (please share how you did that), and the great pic in the title too; awesome work :)

Jen here's an idea only!! You have that big star that really stands out. My suggestion is to add either red or blue graham ribbon or find some blue jean scrap fiber and tie in a knot for a cute look in the center of that big star. But this LO is just down right gorgeous as is. I love that you used black cs for this LO it really makes it jump right out of the gallery. Great job as always!! If that don't work for you. Add some twine in the middle of that star with some kind of button!! Only my thoughts!! Love it as is!! How did you or where did you get those letters for your 'BOYS' part of your title!!??

Embellies..... but boys don't like ribbon! LOL. How about running a double line of red "stitching" from the upper right side of the star/circle, around the pic/pp and down to meet up with the USA snap section? I'm thinking it would follow the rounded corner. And it might tie in your background cs with the rest? LOL. Sorry - I think it's supercool the way it is (especially that 'o') but I was trying to think what I'd add if I had to add SOMETHING. LOL.

Great LO. How did you make that "domed" pic in the "boys" part of title? I like the faux stitching, too. I like that black background too. I don't think it needs anything at all, but if you feel the need to add, maybe in the top right corner of the blue mat. Maybe ribbon or repeat of some other element from the page (like buttons or stars).

the lo is great, Jen! ;) if you want to add more embellies, i suggest you put the same maroon pp (that's right below the top pic) over the photo for a more balance look and to sort of frame the pic. otherwise, this looks great! :) the faux stitching looks fantastic and the way you offset the title a bit is wonderful! the balck b/g makes the details stand out! :up:

Love the overall lo, and the stitching is great. Wondering if you could add ribbons off the top mat--maybe white ribbons and stamp with the same color red stars. But it looks great already.

I think it looks awesome! I like the fake stitching effect. If you want added embellishments, you could add some ribbon up on the top of the blue cardstock next to the circle. Great job!
