On June 10, the Kanine family grew by one… one kitty that is! After seeing a free kittens sign, I had the urge to get a second cat. We decided if we saw another free kittens sign on the way home we’d stop. We didn’t end up seeing anything. When we got home, I searched the internet and found some kittens at a nearby humane society. We took a trip out there, let Josh pick a kitty, and then were informed it was too late in the day to take one home. We were pretty mad that they didn’t warn us about this in the first place. Good thing Josh wasn’t a little older or we would have had a really hard time leaving! We ended up stopping and getting a paper to check the classifieds for a free kittens ad. We found one and called the number. We got directions and headed out. There was this cute little fluffy gray kitty we just had to have! We ended up naming her Bandit. Josh was thrilled to have another kitty to play with, and Roxy was pretty upset she had to share all her stuff!
