WOW! So cute. Way to go on scrapbooking a recent photo. I understand completely as I had the same problem. I still scrap cronologically but once in a while, I throw in a present day one to keep my mojo going.
This is for Something New, week 2 of the Use Your Scraps Challenge. My new things are the die cut, the flower stickers, the Sass flowers, and the alphas.
This is DD and her posse in the climbing tree behind the elementary school. The journaling is about how they say V one way means peace and the other way means, "meet me in the showers," which is uproariously funny to seven-year-olds. Apologies to non-Americans for whom the V means something else entirely.
This was so much fun to do. I bought the die cut paper as soon as I saw it because peace signs and flower power are all the rage with the elementary set these days. I'd forgotten I'd taken this photo, but they went together perfectly. I used the lined paper since the page is about dd's schoolfriends. I chalked the sun and clouds a bit and used a black marker to outline the die cuts and doodle the butterfly trails.
