Wow, I can't even picture how tall he must be, but this shot gives an idea compared to the trees. I agree with Missa, I find that often the best photos of a statue are in the details. Thanks to Erjaan, now I want to see it at night...

I really like the framing on this shot. I think the close up of the entire statue is my favorite, but I like the perspective with all of the trees. Cool statue and very nice shots.

I've wanted to get a photo of this ENORMOUS statue for years!! DH doesn't stop. NOTHING is spookier at night than driving up the highway with this big light ahead and wondering what is going on and suddenly SAM !
