This is another layout of my daughter (on the left) and two of her friends at her dance recital last month. I did this for the July Steampunk Challenge (music theme) and Week 3 of Use Your Supplies to have at least three transparancies. I used the music sheet transparencie and then have three gears cut out of the transparent cover to some misting screens.
The title on the ticket is the name of the song the girls danced to. The journaling on the piano keys are part of the lyrics to "At the Ballet" from Chorus Line, which say: Everything was beautiful at the ballet. Graceful men lift lovely girls in white. Everything was beautiful at the ballet. Hey! I was happy at the ballet. Up a steep and very narrow stairway, to the voice like a metronome..."
