Macabre Monday HDH066 - Macabre Monday Movie Mayhem... A Nightmare on Elm Street
Ok, my little pretties... your challenge this week:

Macabre Monday Movie Mayhem...
A Nightmare on Elm Street
You are to create a dark, Gothic, or Halloween page, project or card gaining inspiration for your project from any of the Freddy movies...
"screeeeeech"
In was beeeeeyond excited to see this weeks theme...
I was just getting ready to start scrapbooking our 2010 Halloween Pictures and this year we had a Freddy Krueger in da'house!
Literally. ;O)
Base is black card stock, inked over in black and around the edges.
Stripes of red & green 2" card stock, ripped on the end and the top & bottom edges, also rubbed down with ink to get 'em grungy.
Whole page was also sprayed upwards from bottom in the center with red Glimmer Mist. Got some good drips going.Poem, Poster title (Never Sleep Again) and glove are all printed images either cut or ripped out then edged in light brown.
Poem:
one, two freddie's coming for you,
three, four better lock your door,
five, six grab your crucifix,
seven, eight gonna stay up late,
nine, ten never sleep AGAIN!All photos were sanded down then edged in light brown.
...and my favorite part:
The Blood. My tried and true mix of 2 shades of red Glimmer Mist with 3D Crystal Lacquer.
I used a toothpick to 'paint' the blades on the glove and draw the slash marks.
The rest was dripped down the center of the page.
I'm always amazed at how this technique still looks wet even when it's totally dry.
This is a late night page... (2 AM here)I can't wait to show Arthur his Creepy Lay-Out in the (later) morning!
