Beautiful - the only parakeets we have are in cages :.( Occasionally an escaped one makes it in the wild, but not enough, although there is a large flock of parrots that are now living in San Francisco - They made a film about it called The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill ~

Awesome photo. I don't have mine posted here, but I got one of a hawk on our bird feeder that I captioned, "Not what we were thinking when we put the bird feeder out." These are beautiful birds. Today we had finches and a Cardinal in our feeder when the fat squirrell let them, lol!
