My son's holiday picture and the story of what a horrible experience it was for me.

Journaling: My sweet boy... as cute as you are in this
picture, it was a traumatic experience for
Mommy. You did not like having your picture
taken at the portrait studio... We went to
the mall to get your pictures taken. The 1st
time, you screamed and cried. We had to leave
the studio and come back an hour later for a
re-shoot. Then, we had some good pictures on
the 2nd attempt - except the studio called
later that night to say the flash didn’t work
properly. So, we had to go back for a 3rd time.
This time, Daddy came with, but you were still
not cooperating for the camera. We got several
shots, but only this one turned out good. Overall,
the whole thing was a difficult experience for
Mommy. Getting a 16 month old ready for pictures,
hoping he won’t mess up his clothes, and praying
he’ll be cute for the camera is a very difficult
task. Next year - we’re staying home!
