Finally finished painting and hanging shelves in my Scrap Room...and while it was clean (not always the case) I snapped some photos. I found this wonderful old desk at a thrift shop for $40...and it is PERFECT for scrapping. The drawers are full of tools, of course! The built-in shelves in front of the desk hold many of my teapots and most of my tea cups...most of which were gifts from friends and family. When I am in this room I am surrounded by stimulating color and texture....not to mention feelings of profound affection and pleasure. It is truly my haven. I don't know if you can tell or not...but the lamp on the desk is a teapot, and I just love the soft glow it gives over my work area. The "teapot" on top of the DVD/VCR player is actually a leather purse!
