hehehe.... reading your journaling made me think back to the late 1960's when I lived in Germany as a teenager, and... it's true... they would serve liquor to anyone, regardless of age! (didn't know about th pool hall though!) LOVE the distressing here and the flowrs, it's all cool!
It's so wonderful that you have a photo of this! A great story that I'm not sure you should share with your kids, lol. I love the way you mixed the different lines together here. Nice distressing work. Great page.
I created this layout for a few challenges... the August Use Your Supplies (Week 4) Cosmo Cricket and the August Darker Side.
This is a photo of me at 18 when I lived in Germany. I was supposed to go to school each day of the week from 7:30 until 3:00. I rarely made it back to the classroom after lunch. Instead, I ended up at the pool hall in the photo. Being from small-town America and only 18 (and not knowing 1/4th what I thought I did), I took full advantage of the fact I could legally drink in Germany and no one cared if I showed up to class or not. I wouldn't really say that makes me a rebel since I am so square in so many other ways but that time in my life is the closest I've come :o)
