Most all of your layouts are favorites of mine, but this one is definitely one of my favorite favs. Very creative how you built a "picture" of you in the sand, and the top left grouping is gorgeous, too. Also, just that fact that it is a candid picture of you doing your thing is awesome.
Well this is a fav, fav, fav for sure!!! I just love looking at this to see all your cool techniques and then I see something else! Love the cardio stamp. Very cool!!!
I love the artistic way you displayed your photo here, the fussy cutting is great. Gorgeous pps and story. Love it all. Perfection again dear Jennifer. :-)
Serene and beautiful, Jennifer. I love the photo so very much!!!!! Your hubby is the crafty sneak and came up with such a great pic of you. You scrapped it to perfection, as always, my friend!
Such a wonderful LO, Jen - it takes a lot of creativity to turn this SOE garden themed kit into a gorgeous beach LO's - your masking and stamping are so beautiful . . . and the way you've made it look like you're standing in the sand is ingenious - this goes in my FAVE's.
Wow!!!! Great picture!!!! And who needs shoes in Florida!!!! I love this beautiful, beautiful page!!! This design and wonderful details are just.........wow!!!!!
Your hubby caught a great shot! I love this photo of you. I am just now noticing how cool you cut the bottom of it and made yourself appear to be footed in the "sand and beach" very cleverly done. I also love you used Drycha's stamp. I would not have thought to use that stamp with PION! LOL
You made it work beautifully!
Created with the new Sept. Scraps of Elegance Kit, Nostalgia. The features the wonderful Pion Design papers, Flourish with a Bling, and Renea Harrissons handcrafted butterfly embellishments. This is a gorgeous kit, dripping with softness and elegance for certain.
We go to Florida every year in the summer. We love the heat. We have a routine and we rather like our boring, repetitive evenings. I take my camera and tripod to the beach. Husband takes his beach chair and book. He totally lets me "do my thing" with my camera while he reads.
This year my husband clicked a few photos of his own with his new phone. I had no idea. I did not see them till we got home. Lo and behold husband liked watching me "do my thing" on the beach. He said this was his favorite photo of me in Florida. This is how he wants to remember our evenings on vacation. Such a man!
But I have to say that it was interesting seeing me from his point of view. Are those seriously sneakers on in the sand? Yep. This is exactly how I am when I am taking my photos....purposeful. Sand has no business between my toes when I am on a mission to capture the photo I want.
In order to get my tripod into the suitcase, I do honestly sacrifice several pairs of shoes. Shoes need to stay home. What will make me happier in the long run? Not pretty feet - but a cool photo? oh yeah
I used the soft and wispy Pion Design paper -Grandma's School Book, the Flourish with a Bling Antique gold pearls, and some Dusty Attic Scroll#2 DA0215.
I also used my brand new 3rd Eye stamp - Kardiogram. Designed by, Drycha (Karolina Stopyra), they couldn't be any cooler. you have got to check her stuff out at the SOE blog.
