I loved Glitter Girl's video this week about repurposing embellishments and journaling cards. I made this layout a few months ago, but never could figure out what to put in the space between the journaling and the Chicago skyline. Labor Day weekend I reorganized the scrap room and came across some old baseball theme embellies and journaling cards I'd had since 2008. I decided that since this layout is about a different kind of team, I'd use the pennant and circle embellies. But the journaling card, with the word baseball in the bottom left corner, would have stayed in my stash a whole lot longer if I hadn't seen the video on Wednesday.
