I am sure she will very much appreciate this card. I really like the repetition of the polka dots from the bird's bottom half on the rest on the background of the card. Like the bright cheery colors and the ribbon is just the right touch.
I am so sorry to learn about this lady's illness. I have visited her site and have bought a few things also. This card will certainly cheer her up and make her smile that you use done of her own images! Praying for a complete healing for her!
This is such a sweet card and is sure to brighten your crafty friend's day. I love your bright, cheerful color palette. Such a fun image! I love that moment when I go through my stash and find the perfect addition to my card...this trim is awesome and you're right, it is the perfect touch to this card! I will keep Faith in my prayers.
Hi Kathy. You did a wonderful job on this. I love how your background paper goes with the image. And yes your fiber looks great! I pray Faith beats that demon! :o)Ro
This is for the owner of From the Heart Stamps. On Aug 11th we were notified by her team that Faith (owner) was in the hospital and to pray for her if we could. Aug 13th her dad updated us to let us know they found a brain tumor just bigger than a golf ball size and they were going to operate. She is now at home recovering from the surgery and starting treatments for cancer. This woman is amazing and even though I have never met her she has touched my life with her sweet spirit, kind heart and love for God. Her dad was so kind to give us an address we could send happy mail of encouragement to. So I went looking through her images that I own (because her store is temporarily on hold) and came across this one. She does not sell pre-colored digis but she had a special one time so I got the pre-colored one of this!! When I saw it I came up with the sentiment. I also used a sketch from their challenge blog - I {heart} sketches #69. I was having a hard time trying to find a ribbon to go across like what was in the sketch. So I pulled out my box of odds and ends ribbons and old old fibers (remember those!!). I found this perfect colored fiber trim that was just perfect...I love those happy finds!!
