Yes, I did use 2-way blue glue. I buy it through Stampin' Up or at Walmart. I used a Crop-A-Dile to punch holes in the letters. I used hemp twine with a small metal buckle at the ends to easily put a nail through (Hodgepodge Hardware from Stampin' Up). When you hang it you also need some sticky dots or something to keep the letters spaced out (they don't hang in a perfect U-shape)

p.s. and did you use blue glue? and did you punch holes in the letters to string the ribbon through? and did you use different string or ribbon on the ends? is there something that you added to the very ends for hanging? I can't tell from the pic.

What a cool idea! (It's going to take me a while to get used to seeing "my"name on your commets page, LOL) anyway, this is a really cool gift idea...esp when you can often get things like the letters on clearance.
