Nothing Gold Can Stay

Nature's first green is gold
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
-Robert Frost

I love Robert Frost's poetry! This poem reminds me of this time of the year as well as my dh grandfather. I wanted to put a picture of him in this picture of the golden leaves, but I did not have one in my computer (they are all either from film or in my external harddrive).
