I taped off that wall with 3-inch painters tape to paint it with magnetic paint... so it looked like a big chalk board hanging there. Then painted the "border/frame" around there with white paint. I'm using it for my daughter's art work... & now it's off the refrigerator! The chair is a nice place to sit for just watching the new tv on the other side of the room. It's an old chair that we plan to replace, but for now... it'll work!
